Narthex Sparkhill, is a charity set up by St Johns Anglican church as a separate charity to meet the needs of people in crisis, destitution, poverty, including refugees & asylum seekers. We have a 4000 sq. ft. foodbank & 1000 sq. ft. clothes bank plus 4 satellite food banks,, we have money advice staff qualified to level 4 up to insolvency, we provide carers support, youth clubs for boys & girls, we work with seniors in lunch club, seated exercise for women over 45, place of welcome, refugee resource centre. Men's drop in for isolated men & men suffering minor mental health problems, unemployment support, job club, basic skills assessment. Parish Nurse, support for victims of DV & Trafficking, Creative English Classes for women.
